Taking a leap of faith as my mom and I start a family business. It’s an exciting yet uncertain path filled with lessons, triumphs, and challenges. For us, MORIGLŌ began as more than just a business venture—it was a passion project rooted in family, creativity, and the desire to craft something meaningful. We started as a mother-daughter journey but have now grown into a thriving family business, welcoming the next generation with my older niece embracing entrepreneurship, commerce, and sales.

The Beginnings: A Labor of Love

MORIGLŌ was born out of love, a shared love for craftsmanship, nature, and the warmth of home. It all started when my retired mom, Maria, was looking for something to do. Wanting to keep herself busy and engaged, I thought it would be fun to start a business with her. My mother and I set out to create something that not only reflected our values but also resonated with those looking for quality, intentionality, and artistry in their candles. With her eye for design and my passion for creation, we combined our strengths to handcraft products that illuminate spaces, ground the soul, and tell a story or evoke a cherished memory.

We poured our hearts into every detail, from selecting the finest ingredients to designing eco-conscious packaging and curating scents that tell a story. Just like our business, each candle blend we create has its own journey.

Challenges Along the Way
