Our story begins with my grandfather (my mother’s father), who was a master tailor and started his own business in the Philippines at the age of 19. His dedication to his craft and entrepreneurial spirit have been a guiding light for us. He taught us the value of hard work, precision, and creating something with heart—a legacy that continues to inspire our work today.

The name “MORIGLŌ” reflects our essence. “Mori” means forest, symbolizing nature, growth, and rootedness—qualities that shape our approach to creating products. “Glō” evokes light, warmth, and calm—the same feelings our hand-poured candles and wooden creations aim to bring into every space they touch.

Caroline (known as “Cal” by her family and best friends) brings deep dedication to every piece she creates. Born in the Philippines, she migrated to the U.S. at the age of 19, carrying her family’s entrepreneurial spirit and the rich traditions of her heritage. Influenced by her grandfather’s dedication as a master tailor, she realized early on that creativity and business run in her blood. Whether crafting candles, woodworking, or building MORIGLŌ, she pours her heart into every creation. At just 13 years old, Arianna is stepping into the world of business, inspired by MORIGLŌ’s journey in entrepreneurship, commerce, and sales. A natural smarty pants with a sharp mind for problem-solving and strategy, she’s eager to learn, contribute, and help grow the brand. When she’s not exploring business ideas, she’s out on the field as a dedicated athlete, bringing the same determination and competitive energy to her sport.
